A 30-minute lesson, already prepared.
Start with a prediction. Open the stated inputs in the free checker, calculate the result, then explain which limit controls. Each exercise includes a worked answer, the arithmetic and a discussion prompt.
- A passing starting point: fill and allowable current
- Why a larger raceway can still fail ampacity
- The same conductors at a higher ambient temperature
- What the continuous-load screen changes
- The termination-temperature ceiling
- Enough ampacity, too much physical fill

The two-page sample includes one complete setup, the worked answer and the larger-raceway comparison. No email or purchase required.

The answers are checked against numerical expectations and PassPull’s supported NEC 2023 engine. This is an educational aid, not independent electrical certification, a CE course, a complete design or an inspection guarantee.
All setups are synthetic. An instructor must verify assumptions, the adopted code and equipment. The checker’s continuous-load option is a conservative screen; it does not replace a complete branch-circuit or feeder analysis.
